Equipment
After spending many hours researching and testing the
best audio equipment, we've put together a system that is completely
digital and state of the art. The system allows for great
flexibility and provides the ability to play from CD, computer, or even
an MP3 player. This system puts over 15,000 songs at our
fingertips at all times.
The components of the system are:
Main Equipment
Our main set-up is
able handle crowds of up to 250 people. For larger events we add
more speakers which are listed below.
Dell Inspiron E1405 Notebook-
Built with an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 200 GB
Hard Drive and 2 GB of memory. This notebook computer is built for
music only.
Pro DJ Software-
Virtual DJ software allows the DJ to easily
search and quickly add song requests into the play list. No
shuffling through 100's of CD's, just one click and the song is there.
Denon DN-D4000-
The
4000 is the worlds first Double CD/MP3 Player with ID3 Tag & CD text
display.
Denon DN-X500 Mixer-
The DN-X500 is a
powerful mixer from one of the first companies to produce digital products.
It allows the DJ to hook up any type of music player and multiple microphones.
Carvin PM15A-
The
PM15A speaker is a 600W
powered speaker that is compact, lightweight speaker that is able to handle a
full night of music with no problems.
JBL JRX118SP-
This 18" powered subwoofer
pushes 400W of bass each and provides great bass to
any event.
For
Larger Events
For crowds larger
than 250 people, we add in a second subwoofer, a mix of the following
speakers and an amplifier to add some extra power to the room.
Behringer Europower 2500-
The EP2500 is an
extremely musical power amp that can take a whole nights worth of abuse
without missing a beat.
JBL JRX115 (x2)-
This trapezoidal, 15" speaker system is at
home in live sound, dance music and speech reinforcement. Each speaker
is able to push 450W of sound with ease.
JBL JRX125
(x2)-
This dual 15" speaker system will fill up any room
with amazing sound. The lower speaker provides the bass tones, while the
upper speaker handles the mid and high range tones. Each speaker can
handle 700W of sound with causing any distorion.
Backup Equipment
In case our main mixer or
amplifier fail, we always have backup equipment on hand and ready to swap in at
a moments notice.
Carvin C1644P-
This 16 channel powered mixer is able to handle
anything that you throw at it.
Numark CM200USB Mixer-
The Numark CM200USB mixer has the ability
for the DJ to directly connect the computer into the mixer. It
provides the DJ easy control of anything that is connected to it.
